Vibration measurements on the ship DS Ability

The MET has conducted vibration measurements on the ship DS Ability. The owner, DS Shipping GmbH & Co. KG, has commissioned this study to find out how to change the vibrations at higher boat speed and to improve engine performance. The measurements were carried out between Pusan and Shanghai.

MET was able to confirm that no vibration problems can be expected due to higher ship speed. With this positive result, the ship can now be offered to a wider range of charters.
