Research Project INKOV is nearing its final stage

We are pleased to inform, that final series of pistons have been successfully manufactured together with our cooperation Partners GSA Aalen, WTZ Roßlau, Fraunhofer and PTJ.

Piston’s upper and bottom parts were connected using inertia welding method. The pistons created with this method have got many advantages over their bolted counterparts. They are easier to manufacture, contain less parts and therefore they have significant lower mass.
